Good Mastering VSTs

Postby Reggie_p75 on Wed Jul 15, 2009 8:08 pm

Hi

I'm wondering if anyone has any knowledge of free mastering VSTs. I have downloaded quite a lot of them and rather than go thru the labourious task of finding the ones I like and the ones that are junk I was wondering if any forum members have any freebie mastering VSTs they could heartily recommend

Out of curiosity, I'm curious if anyone is using Sweetboy's T-Sledge VST. I downloaded it a few weeks ago and find it a decent enough VST as its free and I can't afford Izotope's Ozone.

Thanks in advance to anyone replying, really appreciated :)

i've always used ozone, but tbh i don't know enough about mastering to get the full use out of it. normally a better ear and better knowledge will serve you better than expensive software...

i find waves bundle are quite gd for boosting tracks, loads of dif things involved and plenty to try out!

mastering is an art in it self!!! practice and a good ear will help you get the right sound on what ever your using ;)
